The Jungle Place, or "kuxi k'aax" in the Mayan language, is a 20 acre natural paradise in
the jungle of the Riviera Maya located about one hour south of
Cancun, between Akumal and Tulum.
The grounds of The Jungle Place are a sanctioned reserve for the endangered spider monkey and royal toucan. Surrounded by undisturbed nature, our comfortable
guest homes provide all the modern amenities while leaving the natural beauty of the surrounding area exaclty as it has been for millennia.
Beautiful gardens planted with naturally mosquito-repellant plants and herbs surround the guest houses and provide a tranquil
transition into the undisturbed jungles beyond. Guest houses offer fully equipped kitchens, air conditioning, telephone, television and internet access.
We are minutes away from some of the most pristine beaches in the world, crystal clear
fresh water cenotes, the Tulum ruins, and many exciting activities - but above all the healing serenity of
the jungle when you arrive home from your daily excursions is our greatest amenity.
The seafood is fresh from the boat, and other fine continental restaurants are easily accessible.
The quaint and bustling city of Playa Del Carmen is about 30 minutes away by car and features outstanding dining, shopping, nightlife and entertainment.
Akumal is about 15 minutes away and features some of the best diving, snorkeling and most beautiful beaches in the world.
